my english sucks, anyway:

ts, irc = megafail. soldat should be soldat, without any 3rd party components / useless stuff. mm made similar fail when he embedded mp3 player. imagine these massive slowdowns when your ts/irc servers will crash.
ignore above whine if there will be some way to completely disable both ts and irc, make soldat not connecting to them even a bit, etc.

I suspect there is a way to turn off TS integration, I haven't looked. In any case, it won't do anything with TS if you aren't running TS.

IRC only connects when you explicitly tell it to.

Correct; TS integration needs to be explicitly enabled, and theres an option to do so in out of game setup. As of the beta, it defaulted to disabled, but I'm not sure if that will be true in the future.

Teamspeak integration doesn't rely on the TS server; it only queries information from your TS client.

If either IRC or TS were to crash, it wouldn't cause any sort of slowdown, as it either runs in a seperate thread (IRC) or calls into a DLL that just returns basic information that doesn't lock resources (TS).

I don't know if anyone already asked, but any idea what the changes (if any) to the weapons will be like? Minor buffs or nerfs to certain weapons?
A lot of cheap tricks, but no real skill.

It seems to be taking an awful lot of time...  may I just ask exactly what it is that you must prepare?  (Download link, last minute stuff ect..)

Definitely the download link part, EnEsCe is known for his godly low upload speeds. He started uploading 46 days ago and the ETA is...6 more weeks. Stay tuned.

Results may vary.

When it's ready.
I hate that phrase. Developers just use it as a form of mass torture.

and developers hate whiny communities who can't take "When it is ready" as an answer, what's your point?

I'm not whining. Its just saying, a given range, estimate, probable time period, even if its off by a decade or two, is better then "When its ready". Not that I'm asking for a time period, it's just nice to know.

pffft. while coding something you have no idea how much will be bugging (ofc you know but it isnt like you know how all the code will be compiled), some bugs can take aweful long time to fix due to earlier mistakes etc. therefor almost impossible to set an release date, only possible to give release dates that is the type of: shortly, in long, never, when it's done.

After you've been killed you get the option to save a screenshot from 5 seconds after your death.

Wait, what?  Does that mean you can take a screenshot of your body laying on the ground, 5 seconds after you died; or does it mean that you can take a screenshot of your death within 5 seconds of dying?

No, it looks 5 seconds INTO THE FUTURE to take a screenshot of what's going to happen.

I asked a question and:

Yeah complaining is a definite way to inspire things to quicken. Not.

Why... is it taking so long?  that's all I'm asking okay?  I diddnt ask WHEN.
