How do you shade like this!?

I can't get anything close to that!
I click the color polygon tool, and I try to brush the colors in, but it doesn't work!
Wtf?

Make sure your opacity is greater then sero, preferrably 100, and that you have no polygons selected. Also, you can only color the vertices (corners) of the polygons.

I know, I don't select and color, I just color, but it still doesn't look that smooth.

The smoothness comes from polystructure. If you look, all the polys are are connected at the vertices. This is best for coloring, until you're expierienced enough to do better, but more radical structures.
