Be able to use scripts in single player
« on: December 27, 2007, 09:31:27 pm »
USE SCRIPTS IN SINGLE PLAYER!
Reasons:
  • I usually don't have internet
  • I don't know how the feck to work the dedicated servers
  • I don't wanna learn how to use the dedicated servers
  • It would be more fun for people who can't use the internet sometimes,(Or all of the time)
  • Every sentence up there starts with an I
  • I'm a lagger anywhere farther then california
  • Come'on!(ALT+R)It would just be more fun, like doing things on scripts you couldn't do without being interrupted by people joining your servers
Come'on!You know you wanna!

Really setting up a server is damn easy so you can play scripts offline!
But if your not even willing to....

Stupid Game Improvement if you ask me because it already can be done easily.
Spend a little bit of your spare time and you will have what you want.

Yes, just set up a dedicated server for your own computer, put the scripts on it, and boom.

It's not too hard to set up a server anyway; for local play on the same computer it would mostly be a process of extracting the server zip, setting a mapslist and an admin password, adding the scripts and off you go.

Scripting is made for the Soldat Dedicated Server, it will not be ported to the Soldat client. It will only cause more and more confused noobs posting in the help section wondering why they get missing functions due to the dedicated server script core being updated and the client one not being updated.

We don't bite just ask for some help! But make sure you use the search button first on how to setup the dedicated server.

But for real.. Its install-click-and-play ^^
