Dedicated server config
« on: April 05, 2008, 06:14:20 pm »
I think it would be nice if someone would make a program that edits the Soldat.ini graphically, instead of having to use notepad, so something similar to setup and start game and Options combined together to easily change settings for the Soldat dedicated server.

Who's with me?

It has been done and it isn't really useful. Especially since most servers are linux, configured and run either through a web-interface or remote shells with ssh.

If I could code in a useful language I would make one.

Couldn't get neither link to work...

You can also try fiddling with http://forums.soldat.pl/index.php?topic=22971.0, since python is cross-platform, you'd just edit a few things and voila.
