Its split up, so it kind of looks like the head is deformed, since the mind will automatically try to fill in the blank space.

You should split it down the middle, and actually removing the piece that was there.

Yeah I split it up during design phase since I was thinking, "heh, something weird and different for a change." I could make it bigger anyways, since currently it's only 7kb.

But instead of blanking the screen maybe you should make the eye look like its damaged. Turns on and off like in A-movies (though they suck).

You can have full transpacy in gif (Empty space). Dunno if you can use it AND animate at the same time.. Don't think so...

gif has a transparent pixel, not an alpha channel but you can still have transparency.
I don't think it needs transparency though.

<-- hey look! An example is RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOUR FACE.

Single transparency just isn't appropriate as a background; it's only semi-good for outlining 'non-regular' shaped GIFs.
