After a hard few months of work i think i have finaly finished the battlefield 2142 mod that various people suggested should be made!

This mod was created by Deadeye Rob on concepts put forward by Yamo. It will change the appearance and the feel of the soldat weapons with new graphics, sounds and effects. I hope you enjoy it!

Originally the Bofors DMG was to be a limited download, however the lots of fans did not realise and missed out. So the multi-purpose assult rifle will also be avaliable in this download package! I must say out of all the weapons i have designed through my time as a modder, i would like to think of this as my crowning achivement! enjoy!

Looks pretty cool for a BF2142.
Might download it, even though I don't like futuristic stuff.

By the way Deadeye, I played Soldat with you last night in AK server

Edit: Are you sure everything is in the download? There's only 4 full weapons in there and no configurator to apply them....

Not hard, but tedious when all you want to do is test the mod to see how it is when it could actually easily include the configurator for it or be layed out like a conventional mod.

Ok, I finally managed the files by putting them to 40k folder and using the 40k.exe. And I must say that it isn't as good as I supposed it will be. Few guns don't have replacements (chainsaw, m2), green bullet from ruger is so long that while firing a part of it appears behind gostek. I didn't like the 'modular' approach with m79. Also sounds seem to be quieter than defaults (that maybe my feel only).

The voss had 2 scopes. the Larger one of the two was perched on the top-side of the gun. I looked a little more recognisable this way than my earlier attempts!

I wouldn't go trying to do a Call Of Duty 4 mod... Dairy and PapaSmurf already have that little tiff at the moment. I still haven't downloaded it... But I don't play Soldat much anymore, so I'll check it out when I get back into it again.

Im not one for modern-day weapons Im more into sci-fi or fantasy. Battlefeild 2142 is likley to be the closest to modern themes i will do.

Besides i doubt i could match either Dairy or Parasurf over there designs!
