So earlier I was playing some public CTF in AK server, probably the server I play on the most, and I was on an absolute roll. Although I'm generally always on a roll when I'm playing Soldat.

The admins of the server decided that I should play on my own team, so they moved me to Delta/Charlie team and let me loose with everyone else against me. I'm pleased to say that I went on a blazing rampage through the server annihilating everyone in my path.

In retrospect I should have recorded a demo of it... I will next time if I can.

Here's the final scores for the 2 maps I played on my own team for:
(bear in mind this is pure killing, only alpha and bravo teams can capture)




It was pretty hilarious and extremely fun for me, I spent the whole time listening to 80's music with no sound on Soldat. By the end of it I had about half the server accusing me of hacking because they didn't realize the admins moved me to that team.

Dude, there is only one god of Soldat. And that is Vision/Audio. Not to mention you are on green team, so you have more people to kill than the rest of the people. Barely having a 2:1 k:d ratio isnt that great. Its a pub. I have a buddy of mine with 59 kills and 9 deaths in a pub without being on a green or yellow team. And its completely obvious that everyone in there sucks, as none of them can even get an even ratio of kills to deaths, and even if they do, its only slight.

Mebey attempt something like that when there are actual GOOD players and it MIGHT be impressive. But its a pub so its bleh. Ive had 5-1 k:d with 3 caps in a pub, not that impressive, considering people in pubs suck. Not all but most.

Get rate 2 or 3 on a gather, then you might call yourself GOOD, but not god or even PRO.

Yeah, beating a bunch of newbs on a public doesn't makes you God of Soldat. You did well, but getting a lot of points if you are the only one in the team is actually easier than it looks like (because you can kill 2x more people than others and you didn't have to care about flags).

No there were some really good players in that server. Turok, Keks and Tr0j are great players and it wasn't the easiest game in the world.

Gather involves alot of faffing about to get into game. If I want to play I just sit down and connect to the best pinged ctf server with the most players.

Lets face it, nobody would have put me in my own team on gather anyway. All I did today is sit down to have a relaxing game of Soldat whilst listening to some music and this ended up happening.

Of course I'm not actually God of Soldat, but I know for fact I'm one of the best players around. I'd probably be better if I didn't use knife 90% of the time and got a little more practice with some other weapons.

I was in that game, you weren't. It's that simple. Public isn't always full of noobs.

If you want to bash me for posting something interesting then go ahead, I don't care. I'm a 5 year Soldat veteran who plays almost exclusively with knife.

I lost none of my arguments but I know that you were enraged from your reaction and I think that you're probably quite begrudgesome and so you probably haven't let go of that feeling just yet. BUT. A real god in Soldat wouldn't even die once no matter what the situation. 0 deaths No.1 that's the ultimate achievement.

He can survive every encounter with the enemy, as his teammates dies all over the place, and that barsteward would still be breathing by the end of the fecking war and tell stories about it to his grandchildren while drinking some hot chocolate.
