.png Avatar not working on forum.
« on: April 08, 2008, 04:34:42 am »
I made an avatar today.  It has .png transperancy and shading that I did in Paint.NET

I uploaded it in the profile tab, using the upload from my computer thing, and I also tried uploading it from URL ect..   But all the transperant parts appear black, as if they would in MS paint.  It works perfectly on the aussoldat forums.. shading and all.

This is because the transparent PNG you uploaded had dimensions greater than 90*90, which is the forum limit. The forum resized the pic to 90*90 which always turns the transparent parts black.

Making sure your image is at most 90*90 when you upload fixes this problem...
There are other worlds than these

works, thanks jrgp :)

TbC, I doubt that would have been much use =/  haha

edit:  since this is the only criticism I am likely to get about my pic...

<< thats my avatar, based one a kind of "massacre" theme, like the aftermath of one    Also a mysterious figure (me) under a tee.  I personally like it, a lot.

thoughts?
