^Taunts!
« on: April 23, 2008, 06:42:42 am »
There should be an official Taunt list for ctf players.

It would make it easier to understand

^Enemy barsteward running down

and

^EFC - low

can be very different.

I think mostly about gathers I think, because a clan could do this themselves within the clan.
bad idea?

What is the point of having "^y" Wtf does that stand for?

I understand and use;

1l
2t
3m
Because it's easy for people to get.
But wtf does Y mean? as in Yes?

Just make your own taunts, people won't use a standard one, most people don't use taunts as it is.
Lol, internets.

I never use the quick-taunts. If I have to say something, I type it. With grammar. Hell, I can type somewhere between 120-140 WPM, so it doesn't really hurt to just type "EFC LOW".
To sum up my point: We had a multipage debate about toilet padding. (Putting TP in the water so you don't get splashed.)
And we still don't know if dead guys can keep a stiffy.

If u are FFC and youre low hp and enemy approaching, you cant just stand and say wait a second, then type you are ffc and low, and there is an enemy, and then go on :P its much easier to do something like Alt + c

and for all the taunts homer of gods said, I think its only neccesary to make incomings, Efc, the FFC,  FF's and Base captured.

When you use taunts you don't waste those precious seconds...

I use taunts but TS/Vent is really much better.

I hate those taunts like "VVVVVVVV ENEMY EFC IS ESCAPING DOWN KILL THAT BASTARD VVVVVVVVV"

Honestly, if you want to help your team, don't make them waste time reading your taunt. Yes, taunts are a convenient way to say large sentences in a small amount of time. Taking advantage of that where it isn't needed isn't proof of your expertise, it's an eyesore.
I attend grammar school, last grade, and ignorance is all around me. Well, good for them. Ignorance is bliss.

I like you:D you understood the HomerOfGods thing, I guess the ideal thing it to use TS, it's better the more info your teammates get, and is able to understand.  I also don't like long unnecessary taunts

people, people, you dont undestand ^t or ^5 or ^y  ? ? ?

You know taunts are [0-9] [A-Z]. I didnt fill all of the lines, but lines couldnt be erased, but only edited. I dont want to say that i am pressing ALT+t to write 't', but this is only information for me where to find ALT+t taunt.
