ill just overclock cpu to play crysis
Don't expect anything near as good as something recorded from a quad core.

Why are you wanting to  play Crysis so badly?  It's a big eye-candy fest, but there are better games out there, guv.

Yea seriously.  What wrong with Battlefield 2, CoD 2(or)4?

Rainbow 6 Vegas 2

I dunno. Seems a waste to get an old card like that. My Radeon 3870 is pwnin. Was about $150 Canadian.

I have a pc that can run crysis smoothly on highest settings.

Unfortunately, crysis just turned out to be an over sized, pretty screensaver.

As far as gameplay goes Crysis is nothing special. Its uniqueness comes purely from its graphics and its physics, and it relies entirely upon them... without them it can just be thrown in with all the generic FPS games.

I have to admit though, Crysis is beautiful. The physics and the detail are like nothing ever seen before. It is essentially a future-proof game... I mean its what you can expect from games in a few years time. I don't think you can honestly down-play Crysis unless you own it. Visually speaking it's a masterpiece... but it makes no effort to try and work on older systems.

Its certainly not worth buying a system that can run it purely to play it unless you're a hardcore FarCry fanatic.

Crysis is just a game bought back from the future to warn us about Koreans and aliens.  Nothing special.

Player since late 2007

Gmod 10.
Kicks the shit out of any sandbox game/mod/tool/etc. you'll ever play.

Garry's Mod 9 requires that the following are all installed and have been run recently.

* Half-Life 2
* Half-Life 2: Deathmatch
* Counter-Strike: Source

If you get errors when starting GMod then this is most likely the problem. You should download each one from Steam and run them before trying GMod.
