Idiots in Traffic & Road Rage

Coming back from the ANZAC Day dawn service this morning, we (My cousin, his brother, his girlfriend and myself) were cruising down the highway at around 105km an hour. We see this Subaru WRX coming up behind us in the opposite lane. Naturally us guys begin to drool () until some innocent person ahead of the WRX begins to merge lanes, just as the WRX was trying to merge lanes.

The Subaru swerves violently to the right, just missing this car, passes onto the shoulder on the right hand side of the road, then he and his passengers proceed to give the poor guy the one-finger salute for something he didn't do and an incident that shouldn't have occured, they then take off up the highway, darting in and out of traffic as you do if your 21 and have a car that goes like the clappers.

This is just one story, but there are more, that I have yet to remember. Have you got a road rage story, or can you recollect when someone sped past you doing 160km/h (or miles) in a 60 zone? Please discuss.

No, but me and my family were driving up to miriamvalle, obeying the speed limit all the way except for this one bit, it was like a huge dip, the most hugest dip along the whole trip.  We must have been doing about 110 when theres a fkin speed camera right at the bottom of the hill, concealed in a big black 4wd    Police will do anything to catch people speeding these days

We went to Pennsylvania to visit relatives, which was already making everyone angry. We took the Schuylkill, huge mistake. traffic goes straight to shit once you get on. Some idiot ambulance driver doesn't even bother with the emergency lane and has several lanes of bumper to bumper traffic trying to get over so he can go through. Jackass.

my friend live on a hill by a beach, where boyracers tend to spent their friday nights.
one time this dipshit came screaming down the hill and smashed straight into the poles preventing people going into the beach, and completely wrecked his car.

One night, my friend, his mom, her boyfriend and i were all drinking and there is this pool bar called Guys & Dolls, so in our drunken state were all like 'hell lets go play some pool', so we all jump into his Trans Am and we do a burnout and take off, we eventually hit the highway and we hit up to about 120-125mph in a 60mph, but the highway was almost empty. We get off and we pull up to Guys & Dolls, its closed, so we decide, hell lets see if we can find another one, so we drive around a bit and i think his mom's boyfriend forgot what we were looking for, so instead of trying to find another place to play pool, we just cruise around, we pull into a neighborhood and my friend says 'where are you going?', he said 'hell i dont know' (something along those lines).

Well, he decides to make a quick turn in a single lane street, so as we are whipping around, he just stops about no more than 2-3 inches from a stop sign to which was on my friends side of the car (lucky him) and we speed our way back to the house. Well no more than 2 minutes after we get inside, the cops come to the door and try to blame us for wreckless driving, to which everyone denies it, so they go touch the car to see if the engine was hot, it was a bit warm, so they blame us again, i mean cmon, we are innocent. They were about to arrest the boyfriend but since he was so cooperative, they decided to let him go, though my friend and i stayed away from the cops, doing anything and everything to get the alcohol off our breath without them noticing. Crazy night.

Point is, it's kind of best to tune it out. I have my fair share of road rage, but I don't have all that many road rage stories, because I pretty much just let it roll off my back.

Same here, except in mph, though some cops may need their quota so they can be dicks if they want, though if this is the case, it usually wont hold up in court unless the judge is pissy.
