this is a real f*ck the police topic but it just proves how shitty some of the US cops, and is why people can't really trust law enforcement these days

the fact is that cops these days are too trigger happy(i'm talking about US cops, not all). these kind of people need to be controlled and we need to be AWARE of a cop's presence, and they need to become aware too

i would post a wall of text but i feel i need to hear responses to this shit first

The fact remains that most cops are TOO trigger happy, and need to be CALMED DOWN in general.

I personally know multiple cops, they aren't bad. Looking at some random youtube video and saying all of *insert group here* are like this is just plain dumb. You can't just label a group like, most cops are very good people, and really you can trust them. (of course not completely, they are just people) Most cops have never fired their gun anyway, and plus if you do you have to fill out all kinds of paperwork if you even shoot, let alone hit anyone.

"That's all there was — gunfire," he said. "There wasn't nothing else."

With tires screeching, glass breaking and bullets flying, the officers claimed that they believed they were the ones under fire. Oliver responded by emptying his semiautomatic pistol, reloading, and emptying it again, as the supervisor sought cover.

The truth emerged when the smoke cleared: There was no weapon inside Bell's blood-splattered car.

one cop shot thirty one bullets, the other shot 11 and the last shot 4. can you say that is justified since he DID NOT SUCCESSFULLY reach for what he was getting, the cops could have EASILY waited for at least a signal of intent
and dude having a semiauto is not an excuse, ripping through thirty rounds from one dude is not normal can you not comprehend this at all

even if this is mistaken, they got acquitted, and the fact they killed a guy goes unpunished

Well 3-4 shots if it was noon, they believed no threat was involved, were within 10-15 yards, and had plenty of time to aim at a still target. However they believed they the were under threat, it was dark, and I doubt the entire deal lasted longer than :30-:45. Still if I thought you meant to do hard to me or friends/partners I would unload my clip with no questions asked.


To put in perspective how fast this probably happened a semi auto pistol/rifle can get off about 2-3 rounds a second, depending on how well trained the person is.

I am not saying these guys are innocent or guilty. Just stating the fact the number of bullets means nothing with a group of people that feel threatened and are armed with semi autos.

I am thankful that here in Finland our police are not assholes who failed at their lives and are horribly uneducated and untrained, dumb, frustrated, angry, violent and trigger happy.
