Rendering Issues

I want to make an .avi type file for the trailer. I use Sony Vegas 7 and I'm not sure what settings to use. Obviously, my goal is to minimize to filesize while optimizing the quality of the video. I'm hitting about 300MB everytime I render my video. Does anyone have any idea what settings/codecs to use?

It shouldn't be a problem to keep it maximum quality if you use DivX. Works fine for me at least.

Lower your output frame rate.
