Overuse of too many weapons
« on: July 21, 2006, 02:37:52 pm »
I remember when soldat was what gun you like best and not whatever gun P'd ppl off the most. Barret I understand takes skill (hell id be a hypocrite to hate it if you get my meaning ;P)cause in an unmodded server you have one shot at it every 5.5 secs or so. My9 and miniguns are other stories. I've entered a server where I'll be the only AK74 or RUGER killer and all the others are m79s. Some people call it skill being able to lob it but I think it's an excuse for sucking at pinpoint accuracy and just blowing em up with no chance. It's like the israelis cant hit the hezbollah safe houses so they just bomb all of lebanon. Another pet peeve of mine is the m79. Every now and then you get a noob or a jack-(insert DONKEY synonym) that has a faster connection adn comp and decides to roll out ole painless and lag others up. I dont even see the point in spraying with it as you'll have more sucess trying to stab ppl with a knife rather then throwing it. It just kinda ticks me off when I'm the only decent shot in a server and everyone else is blindly firing m79s off hoping to hit something.

Well, there is nothing wrong with the overusage of weapons, and definately nothing you can do about it.

...execpt nerf every weapon in the game over and over, forcing people to play counter-strike.

Its like the Terrorists who do not have the military force or strategy to attack the marines, so they just blow themselves up (litterally, blind pointblank shots of m79)

Did you plan on saying anything, or wasting space by quoting him?

This topic has nothing to do with weapons balance.
