As a Barrettard, I can safely say that if you try to attack a sniper with a Ruger outside of about 80m, or with a Socom outside about 40m, you're doomed. Do yourself a favor and grab an auto.

ive seen rugers owning barrets hard though the barret is usually better
i personaly would use a socom and bink the hell out off him but u will have

only if the brt is standing in one place(waiting for you) then there is very little chance to kill him but when he is moving and you are moving then rgr wins !

as a barret user, someone carrying a ruger is a nightmare. it's quick reload, decent cyclic ROF and packs enough puch to be a very annoying pos.
i also find that if you are against a barret, and all you have is a ruger or socom then worry first about making the barret blow his shot then use the ruger and, unless he's good with a secondary, you've got him. if you decide to go after him without making him blow the shot, still use the ruger, if your close enough to hit him with the socom, you're definately point blank for a .50 cal barret.

As a guy who uses barrett alot, rugers piss me off more than socoms because they have 4 chances of hitting me at long range by the time ive reloaded and plus it does more damage.
A guy with a socom is easy to dodge but rugers...yeah i hate them, especially if the persons good with the rugar, i always think oh sht.

Only use the ruger if you have really good aim and can quickly take the barrett out with the first two shots of your clip. Otherwise, spam the barsteward with the socom and try to make sure all the bullets hit him / her.

Yeah, Barrett owns because it's bullet speed is very fast, with one-hit-kill. If two soldiers shoot at each other with 100% accuracy at the same time, the Barrettard will kill the Ruger user and walk away injured. If the guy is good he would even jump and avoid the ruger-shot, leaving the battle unharmed. Same thing with socom, the .50 cal lightning-fast-armor-piercing bullet will hit first.




The best way to deal with Barrettards is to force them to waste the shot, and never expose yourself to an easy shot. Always make it hard for them, spray in the expected line of fire, sudden movements, grenades diversion, spam long text messages diversion, piss, walk on their bullets, insult their mom, etc. If you can do that, Barretards are basically just moving targets, running away like little girls, squealing for their pathetic cowardly lives.




Personally ruger and socom are easy to handle. Ruger shots can easily be dodged(worming/rolling/backflip), while socom shots are way too slow it's almost laughable. Most users of such weapons die before even landing a single shot......

Barrett is simple: It's all about shooting before your enemy does and also hit him (instant-kill). If you can't even achieve this, you should not even use the Barrett. Because it fires slowly, users are pretty much forced to do hit-and-run. They can become easy targets as long as they miss or are reloading. Just make sure you finish them off before they can shoot again.

Ruger shots are dodgeable if you are fast, but if you're quite slow (like me), you can get hit easily as though that Ruger-user was using a Barrett.
