Okay, here are Magus's outlines.  I like them quite a lot thanks man!

Remember.. Add anything you want to the gun (scope, magazine etc) Please make only fairly small changes only.  Modify whatever you want inside the gun outline (like black patches) And enjoy!

But... Magus, can you pls do one at a time in the future, maybe put more detail into a single one because the outcome will be much better and I won't have to upload so many images!!  :(    It's better to have one fully texturized gun than 10 single colour ones :)

And for that reason (and because I just don't have time) I'm not gonna put ALL of them in the first post just the ones that are worth-it.  sorry

I figured since I shaded them all last night, I'd upload them all at once. And uh... what's wrong with the GL-06 and RPD?

And honestly, I don't see what else I can do to make the guns look better. When I look at most interface pictures, they look like randomly placed pixels of a similar color. There seems to be no reason behind it. Now I could do that, but then I'd have to get rid of the details I added.

If you notice, they all look so much more detailed. More colour and more detail.

It's called dithering.

I removed a couple of the weapons because they were taking up a lot of room, I removed the GL-06 because I did not like the shape, it waas too simple, and the RPD because it was just as plain as all the others, I would've removed more because the shading was all the same but I let it go in the end because I couldn't be bothered.  Please understand that I don't want them all to look the same.  Besides it's your mod, and I don't really want full on Mods being presented..

DB it looks a little strange, I'll upload it anyway, but try enhancing the 3d effect a little next time ;)   (Simple, darker shades at the bottom, yours are very hard to spot)

And a couple of sniper rifles I've been working on.

Well, I think the dithering makes them look like crappy jpegs.

It only makes sense to me that they'd be shaded the same way. Did you want like the AK to look like a picture was taken in the dark, and then the AKSU to look like it was lit by the sun from 2 feet away? looking for different light angles, what? And why does it really matter?

Also, while you might not want an entire mod, you did say you wanted the guns to be shaded, so I took a stab at shading them.

As far as the shape of my GL-06 is concerned, here's a pic of the original... http://www.world.guns.ru/grenade/gl06-1.jpg

What exactly have I missed??

It has... a UMP stock, a pistol grip, a long tube, and a vertical foregrip.

Your GL-06 had a very simple design I think you could've done better.   And it only has like 3 shades...

But they all only have 3 or 4 shades... And they're pretty small pictures anyway, especially the GL-06. Plus, the real gun's design is very simple... What, did you want me to put optical crap on it or something?

Well I'm sorry if it offends you in any way I'm still not gonna change my image, it's good and done.  What are you trying to prove by arguing me anyway?  What does it really matter to you?

I'm not trying to change your mind, I'm just trying to understand exactly what you think is wrong with it because I'm not seeing anything wrong with it.

Sorry.  I can understand your curiosity now.  I told you: All the weapons looked a lot similar in terms of shading so I diddn't bother with them all.

I'd prefer you just put it this way:  What's done is done that's life.

Now if you don't mind I'd like to stay on topic :)
