I don't see why you'd use PS for doing soldat guns.  I've tried: MS Paint, Paint.NET, and Photoshop, and I have to say Paint.NET is far better than the others in terms of making gun interfaces for soldat.  It's got easy acces to any shade of any colour of any level of transperancy all in the same toolbox.  Photoshop is more of a full-on graphics/photo editing thing.  Hence the name Photoshop.  MS Paint is good for making quick outlines (not with shading) saving screenshots, most of your copy'n'past needs, and definately for converting images.

I don't like that magazine in M16's and AKs
USP is quite good

But i think that the topic is about post the outline and let someone make it, not making full weapons

Actually it's about shading outlines already made. But since I have more than just an outline due to the fact that most of these have been/are being used in mods, I figured I'd post the full version. Then you get an outline, and my completed work... by the way, what's wrong with my magazines? I'm not offended by the fact that you don't like them; I just want to know what you think is wrong with them. shape? color? details? what?

The wrong thing on your magazines is the shape, try to take more images for bases

Soon i'll post some outline

Guys, no.   If you would like to use an outline you have to show it to me first, then if I accept it you may then shade it.

Magus, stop posting all the weapons you make please, they are out of YOUR mod, not MY thread.  I will make more outlines myself if I have to.

Yeah, I'm not trying to thread-jack. I thought you got an outline, and you posted it up, so people can shade it  [retard]
Meh, I took the att. off for now   :-\

Guys you can still post completed weapons if you want.  Still you should keep it clean :P

And, at any time, feel free to post your own outline for others to try!
I planned use this in NN but probably include later in some Hitman mod. Cant be smaller due to details and shape to be closest as possible in original, but in this topic size is not that important.

Another reason of size is that I extremely dislike 1-2 black pixels parts and use them only as ultimate when cant be avoid...

If custom/hellish/strange/futuristic weapons are allowed too, second outline is attached, feel free to find best looking color scheme.

Not necessarily. I'm very much a fan of your 'lack of internal outline' approach since it's how I do it too. Oftentimes 'internal outlines' are extraneous and discourage use of tonal values to create detail [instead enforcing a reliance on outlines alone] which is a problem too often seen in pixel art here.

Pay attention that is old weapon and not my actual way to do outlines and details, just old model example.

Today I using mixed techniques as something closer to texture because darker-lighter limited number of similiar pixels of color not always should work as intended to be. Internal "skeletal" outline isnt perfect also, because sometimes fakes and deform, oversize weapons, but I show my new style in next mod (not update, something new), now I just using temporary portions of "old" to slowly convert old stuff and get old ideas in new way - but not  waste basics and knowledge.

Probably from my old style ~70% is modified in modern way, learning pixelart from scratch is useless in my situation, I cant just show everyone suddenly new style when old still not died, it takes some time.

Exactly, HK. Occasionally panels and internal outlines start competing for space... It works sometimes on big slabsided guns, but generally you can't afford it with smaller weapons.

New outline, something between Alpha Doom's Machinegun and MP-40.

Also some "experiment" with shading, the legend:
O - outline
T - plain, but not completely flat texture with 3 different materials (various scheme of concavities.
S - shading added to texture (with all original scheme of materials)
F - finished, outlined weapon.
