Your T-stage was the best in my opinion. The "shading" overlay you did ruined it because it's just a darker gradient. T could have just been placed into the outline and perhaps contrast-adjusted to be a bit more vivid and that would have been fine.

Nope, no gradient tool in MS Paint :D i used a pallete that i found on my images folder, i just used the line tool, does it looks that bad?
EDIT: Is It just me or the image now looks with no shading?

Well, adding so much gradient is bad, make it with lights and shadows and take base pics
also work on the details

How Lights and Shadows?
BTW: i use base pics, details, eh? like a visiblem bolt or visible sights? Lights and shadows, like the bottow of the weapon darkened and the top brightened?

Well I will add that one when its imporved a bit.  felip

Thanks sky.  I dont want too many similar weapons so Ill just add your M16..  (lol theyre both the same image file so thats okay) And the 'UMP' looks real nice :P  thanx for fixing it a little.

felipegoes, you should add like a bolt to it, maybe add a camo net, anything to make it look a little more 'Complicated'.

If I were you I would move the bright bit on the buttstock down a bit, then shaping it to the shape of the stock, so it doesnt look like a pipe cut out or something.  Then add some basic texture to it, like little bits of dirt and stuff but not too noticeable.  Dont limit yourself to a couple of colours from your pallete, I usually use different variants of shades, and sometimes I just draw on it randomly with a pencil just to make it look alright.  Try Gimp or Paint.NET if you want to take it to the next level :)

no,  It's that I need to save it, and upload it.  And takes too long, I need an application that magically upoads images straight off the net or something?

And Photobucket takes longer :Z
