faster standing reload

A simple suggestion - reloading the gun (or MAYBE between bullets in sniper maybe too) while standing still or {{crouchign or proning} and not moving} should be faster than when running/walking.  I would say 33% faster.  If you start running while reloading you start reloading slower (typo fixed).  It, afterall, seems more realistic.  The only downside to this is that peopel that like to spray a lot will have it better because they get to reload faster.  Other than that it would only make sense to have this.

actually, I think they should reload normal while not moving and slowere while moving.  But this has pretty much the same effect.

that's not the point plonkoon.  I was talking about that players should reload RELATIVELY faster than when standing.  obviously if this is implemented reload times would have to be reconfigured to accomodate this new change.

Why would you reload faster if you start running? I thought you said you'd do it faster whilst standing still.

Yeah, lets give the barret campers more reason to sit there all day long. Definitely not between barret shots please.

  You're not gonna stand around trying to reload faster with someone shooting at you, since you'd be better off moving around with the standard reload time.

Safe Location:
  The way I see it, if you can safely stand still to reload faster (ie. if nobody is shooting at you), you wouldn't really need to reload faster anyway. And if you did, it would only be because you're using a barret (or a LAW), and the tension is killing you.

I don't think there's any middle ground... either it's safe to stand around, or it's not.

I think this already happens for certain guns. Maybe I'm wrong. But yeah, faster reload when standing and slower when moving.

I voted yes for a reason, if your standing still while reloading you should reload faster, when moving while reloading it should be more harder.. Making it more slower while moving.

Yeah you're right.  I thought about that but i still wanted to post the possibility.  So let's just rule that out

That's where the player has to take the risk.  Maybe you're in the heat of a battle and you are able to go to a temporarily safe location and stop and reload.  Or if your fighting a barreter and you're reloading and you know you have time before he fires, you'll be smart to stand still to reload your HK MP5 faster before he fires at you.
In both instances it might seem like it's such a small difference but soldat is such a fast-paced game that any second counts...

Soldat is a "run n' gun" game. Making it so you reload slower while running would be a step in the wrong direction for Soldat.

Although reloading while standing still would be a good idea, it would just make it easier to camp/spray. The people who are doing less camping/spraying will be the ones who get less of a benefit.

Hmm.. i'm probebly one of those retards that enjoy walking/standing. I just find it so cool how I can DEagle/ruger someone who's flying above my standing self.
