Righty-ho, first version of my trailer entry

Feel free to be as harsh as you like, as long as it has meaning, i.e. NOT 'ZOMG U SUXSS!!!11one'

This is my first video ever made so i'm not expecting much, but any way you think it could be better will be appreciated.

Fix any jitters

Show teh Deagles and m79 killing like the chainsaw

This is my favourite entry i have seen so far. Great idea, well set out although the only thing i didn't like was the demonstration of the m79 i mean it would be much better if you killed someone

Good work, the font was clear it wasn't to fancy and was very simple if i didn't know about soldat this would convince me very well.

Would be better if it has a user interface, I don't think spectator view will be very desirable at all in an official trailer. Its abit short too, M79 preview was horrible, some of the clips are very jittery, if slow-motion was the intention you're gonna need better initial framerate >_>

It's fairly decent concept and it links together nicely, you only showed really 2 weapons properly out of the 10 and the footage wasn't too flash, you were warping around slightly in some parts of the trailer. Keep going though! You can improve it.

About the user interface, I am using fraps to record videos, and I thought using demos would be better, I will see what bots are like. M79 preview will be changed. I was recording at the highest possible framerate, for some reason soldat only records at about 25 fps, so if anyone has some good short clips I could use for my slow-mo bits, especially the gorey bit at the end, it would be appreciated if you posted them

Really liked that 'weapon-presentation' thing but in needs more action especially in deathmatch and ctf part. Quick kills, zooming in and more dynamic montage.

If fraps is recording too fast it will:
A. Record faster than the game, which will make it look choppy especially if you slow it down
B. Using more system resources, which slows down the game's framerate
C. A huge waste of hard drive space.

Lower the framerate to below 60. 23-30 is fine for normal clips, higher if you want to slow it down.

And people got to use other music besides the soldat music...it's getting annoying lol

I spent ages thinking about that word, I think maybe 'Full support for modding' will be better. What do you mean "Take those other suggestions", I don't want to have just 'full support for modding, that would look fecked. The music is there because it is good and I couldn't be bothered d/l music with my dial-up from copyright free places.

My opinion it to just take short clips of insane moments and stitch them together, you running with a flag from a trigger happy m79er who has horrible aim wont do much. It was fantastic for a first try, carry on.
