i have made lots of climbing maps, but this is my first dm map. i hope you like it :D. little bit ugly from sides but i hope it doesnt ruin the whole map :P
Why is this text here? who knows.... its a mystery...

I can see how it looks a bit like a dungeon. The far left end of the map (where clusters spawn) looks like a door that leads to the freedom away from this dungeon. But I don't really understand how the rest of the map is a dungeon. Since you mentioned "it has to be new technology", I'd assume this forest-like dungeon is something special.

He meant that the fact light comes our rock is a new technology.
Anyways, the texture is overused, the only sceneries you have used are veg_ ones, there are no ropes or cols that would keep those platforms in the air, the polystructure is crappy, charlie and bravo have got really big advantage.

that map is forest and there is dungeons, and those are light rocks. and those polys dont have ropes because they are flying in air

Light has to come out of a source that produces it, right?
Here it comes out of rocks.
IMO you simply didin't have an idea so you made a dungeon map which isn't even a dungeon, forced by the c-s.net contest(your signature proves that), wishing that you become a famous mapper like vig, avarax, e_a or sukka. You fail. Your maps are like chinese mass-produced toys. There isn't any inspiration in them at all.

Who am I?
Someone with higher status, an admin on the server he plays on, a way better mapper and climber than he is and I'm not as childish as they both are.
Should I be jealous?
He's got banned on other community for being retarded and relasing those crapmaps everyday, he isn't any better now, he's trying to make you actually like him and his brother is helping him to become a pro mapper, which he will never become anyways.
Also, you don't make sense, Netherdrake.

this is so simple vin... if you dont like my maps, then dont comment and just say "you sux you will never became good mapper" tell me what i should add/fix or how i could make the map better and what you think of that map. because im bored reading your stupid comments like "hey that map sux" etc.

Don't let this degenerate into a flame fest.  I'd hate to have to put it out with warnings and the like.  Either offer up some constructive criticism, or don't post.  It's as simple as that.  Opinions are fine, but opinions laced with insults are useless.

Haven't play tested it yet, but at a first glance those polys coming down from the roof of the main (?) room look like they might be a little awkward.  Seems like if I were jumping around in there I'd find myself getting delayed/caught up by them when wanting to move.  Then again, it might be larger than it appears at first glance.

Possibly a bit too many rooms/passages for a smooth flowing DM map, but overall a good first try I think.  Keep 'em coming.

@Geologist: We were trying to help him for a year, but he hasn't improved.
My first comments were a constructive critism, but then he told his brother to register and give a positive comment, which would make people to like this map.

@Maunokki: I haven't gave you enough critism in this thread? I'm always giving you some support but you seem to be too dumb to get that, I'll state the things clearly for your 10 year old mind from now:

-The only sceneries you have used are veg_ and fx_ ones
-The light comes out rocks, it should have some source like lamps or something
-The polygons float in the air, you should put some col sceneries under them or rope ones over them.
-Two teams have got really big disadvantage, you just spam nades into their spawn and get 2+ kills instantly
-The polystructure sucks, that's why the shading looks crappy
-The texture is overused
-The bottom is overstretched/overaligned
-The spray blockers make it hard to move on the map
-There are too many tiny passages, you can get stuck
-Put the Properties window on the screenshot or copypaste the map info from mappacker if you use it ofcourse.
-Pick a name for the map when you finish it if you don't have inspiration

I have been using this account on soldatforums for a year, and he didn't told me that. and maunokki's maps aren't anything flamingzones, Pretty good fixes that maun should do anyway..
