Modificable Damage Ratio
« on: May 15, 2008, 07:32:59 am »
I suggest we should be allowed to change the ratio of damage that bullet to each part of the body. I believe right now it's 120% for head, 80% for legs and 100% for anywhere else. What if we want legs to be 50% and head to be 150%?

Agree. Also it would be good to be able to modify same thing for vest (we would be able to make vest+helmet kit).

That'd be something I agree on for modding.

Yes. Good idea. Should be settable in the soldat.ini.

Two at the very most
Three I'm under the table

F12, cause it makes new modding possibilities ... on the other hand, I don't want more "non-stantard" servers :E (Now it seems that there are more wm/real/tw/whatever servers than normal servers :S )

F12.  The more scripting control, the better.

I couldn't agree with you more.  I can't speak for everyone but we could use another CTF normal pub within reach of mid-Atlantic North America.  It seems like Factured and U13 are always full during prime-time.

I'd hate to think that something like that was hurting Soldat's adoption rate.

Just remember what ol' Jack Burton does when the earth quakes, the poison arrows fall from the sky, and the pillars of Heaven shake.  Yeah, Jack Burton just looks that big old storm right in the eye and says, "Give me your best shot. I can take it."

in normal it's 115% for head, 100% for torso and for legs 90%.

for realistic it's 110% for head, 100% for torso and for legs 60%.

would be cool and not too hard, just adding visual to change the variables.

That'd be interesting, make it so only headshots count (1000% head, 0% torso) Etc. F12

That's a good idea, we can set it to headshot damage only... Great for target practice. ;D
