How would Half Life 2 E:2 run on my CPU?

Vista Home basic (AKA:SH*T)
Intel Celeron D Processor 356 3.3 Hz
512 MB Memory
120GB Hard Drive
448MB Ram
Graphics: ATI RADEON XPESS 1100
Uhhh.... That's about all it says on the side of my computer. So, ya.... How will Half Life 2 E:2 run on my cpu, set on default/medium graphics settings, and for fun, high graphic settings. (I want to own a steam game, SOO BAD.)

I think it would run fine. You should check the minimum requirements on the HL2 website. Also, I would REALLY recommend upgrading to at least 1gb ram as Vista is a really big resource leecher.

What's the difference between your RAM and Memory? ..  yer but it don't look like you could run it on high settings maybe lower res too.  So yeah good luck with the game ^.^  is there a dmeo you could download and try?

Your RAM just passes The Orange Box minimum of 512mb.

No thats a load of crap..  It's just showing your system compared to whats written on the box  For a more accurate result download a demo...

Too bad you have an ATI card otherwise you could download Portal: The First Slice which has pretty much identical specs to HL2Ep2.

Radeon Xpress 1100? I don't think so.

I have a 7600gt (had a...) and I run it on medium.  HL2:E2 is much more graphically demanding than HL2, and I don't even think your computer can run that.  The GPU is much more important when running modern games.

Also, what is the difference between your RAM and Memory?

Ram = Random Access Memory = memory

There is no way you can run HL2 with only 3.3 Hz

The Half life games are very CPU intensive because of their physics engine, The videocard should be fine, the ram is fine, just don't expect all high rez graphics.
