nope.... if the client fucks up completely that hes basically not even in the server... i've seen pings like 6000 etc.

This is similar to what I saw once. Someone "adfhgdon" joined he had if i remember right 14800 deaths This happened in Avarax's R/S server..

I remember that... I think what was special about that was that I had between 1000 and 2500 ping for about five minutes, then it dropped to ~600 and finally about 100 (which is my usual on that server).

Anyway, my point (if there is one) is that while huge spikes are impressive, but having a ping constantly at 1000+ (without using it for anything but Soldat) is really something...

I've had 4k and something...The most annoying with that aint the damn lag, its the fucking ping lamp =S
Was lag spikes though, so the lamp was pumping over the screen every third second...

2500 ping spikes that last for several seconds are common for me. I suppose it may be either my wifi or my shatty connection (if you've any advice PM me).
