Best Weapon?

Im looking for some sort of guide to the AK-47?
I use Ruger and AUG. But i see this character called 1 go around and kill everyone with an AK-47 and its so awesome......
Any Guides?

The best guide : Practice. And practice. Learn the arc. Practice.

Try to hit your enemies with every shot and don't reload when it's not needed, 'cause it takes a while.
You can support and rush with it very well.

Actually it depends on your style and preference. Anyway, about the AK:

3 - AK-74 :
Damage / DPS: 103 [24720] (7 shots to kill, BS = 240) / 148320, 6 {Mid Range}
Fireinterval / Reload: 10 / 150
Ammo / DPC: 40 / 988800
Bink / Movementacc: -16 / 2
Startup: 0

The AK is the slowest-firing auto, but deals the most damage per shot. In addition, it is considered the most accurate auto. It has a high ammo clip of 40 ammo and a rather long reload of 150 ticks (2.5 seconds). Its bullet speed is 240, as opposed to the Aug's 260. The AK is the second most popular auto, and I'd say it is the "slow and steady" auto. Most people call it the "Minimi-carbine", because it is quite similar to the Minimi.

For AK, when you shoot, you normally don't hold down shoot. You'd probably tap it shot by shot and make every bullet count. What makes AK superior is the fact that it can hold out in very long fights. A general gun might have run out of ammo and start reloading, while the AK probably still has about half or more of the ammo (20) to deal with you.

Why is it the "Minimi-carbine"?

1. Similar firing rate (Minimi's no doubt, faster of course)
2. High Damage (statistically, Minimi kills in 8 shots, AK in 7, Aug and MP5 take 9)
3. High ammo (AK has 40, Minimi has 50, both can last long battles)

What makes them different:

1. Accuracy. AK is much more accurate, though of lower bullet speed. Minimi is much more inaccurate due to very high movementacc, it only makes up for it with high bullet speed (270)

2. Reload time. AK takes 2.5 seconds, 150 ticks. Minimi easily takes 3.85 seconds, 250 ticks. In a typical situation, the AK's reload is long enough to survive prolonged fights, but with Minimi's reload, you're basically dead meat if you cannot survive a heated fight and run away to refill ammo and HP. Both AK and Minimi can fight in pro-longed battles, but Minimi has a limit.

I personally use the AK if I play CTF, if I don't use the Ruger that is. I like it because its very easy to aim with it, accurate, and is powerful enough. I can last a long while before I need to reload.




Anyway, that's all I have to say about the AK. I have knowledge on the weapons, but most of these are just maths and statistics, and are the basics of the gun. The rest of the info, you have to learn from experience, or let an AK-expert be around to teach you the rest.

No! , don't "stick" with any weapon..  Best thing to do is accept the fact that they are all balanced, and none is better than the other.  It's not the gun, it's the gunner (also, the other player's guns, keep this in mind when selecting)  Feel free to use any gun as your "usual" or "default" choice, but be sure to select appropiate weapons for the appropiate condition.

The best Weapon I would have to say is if U are Pro...Is the
Ruger 100% ..For 1v1's.

For CTF ya, it's true depends on the map.  But there an auto would be best, except if it's a big map, then rett, or ruger, whatever one fits you.

But a guideline for me is to always have a single shot, semi, or auto you can use.  I dunno, it seems to make me more versatile.
E.g. I can rett or 79, though I prefer rett; my main primary is deagles though I can spas, and my auto is AK. 
Just for different situations you use different types.  So if there's snipers up a hill just not letting me get out of my base, I would either switch to rett myself, or rock up with AK to bink them out.  That's if I don't saw.  It would be really hard to deagle in that situation unless you're like Rai... get it?

Like today, i have never really used a spas much, but I dropped my law for it as a secondary and owned some people with it, so I was using it for a good chunk until the map changed to a larger map, then I used minimi.

Whatever just sort of flows for me. but my personal favorite has to be the minigun. It's just too cool. I just wish it was practical.

Agreed - sometimes I use (mostly) AK-74, sometimes Barrett, sometimes MP5, sometimes Ruger, it just depends what health I've left the guy on and how many people are incoming!

Disagreed - Minigun is so easily countered - loooooong reload, loooooong startup and little damage from each bullet - and it's hard to keep still.

I used to be a Barret maniac - but I was O.K at it, at that time I was rubbish with auto's.
Then I found the MP5 - and loved it for a time.
AK-74 was never thought about - but now it is - I can own people!
It has range, big cartridge, good damage, good speed, and a good arc which is easy to master.
So now - I can use many weps to a good degree!

Although - some people are meant for certain guns - to begin with it was Barret for me.
But times change - in 4 months you may not be using weapons you are using now.

It also depends what MM changes in the weapon department as well - some weapons will become less used due to changes to that and other weapons.

Basically - just find a weapon you find comfortable, practise (WITH AUTOS USE NADE SPAM!) and get out and own!

I myself thought of using all the weapons and choosing them based on what I felt like at the time, but then decided this wasn't too good an idea as I would just be mediocre with all weapons but wouldn't be able to dominate with one in particular..

For me it would have to be ruger 77 or Desert Eagles..... Depends on the maps conditions. cuz deagles kill 2 hits and ruger 77 kills 2 hits.....

DE's are usually 3 hit kills and possibly 4 hit, if you hit the feet. and ruger is almost always 3 hits to kill.

He probably plays realistic, and besides it is possible to pull off a 2 shot Deagle kill its not easy though.

DEagles - 2-hit kill is also possible(requires 2 headshots from close distance)...

Assuming no lag. Maybe it's just bad luck for me but I've found that hits not registering has gotten much worse for me recently.

Well I hated minigun a lot long time ago, but I now realize that minigun is actually really good when you're having a big team match. Don't mess with them as if it's an inferior gun
