Mobile Phone Customizations/Modifications/Flashing
« on: May 25, 2008, 12:25:28 pm »
Well, I've recently bought a Sony Ericsson K800i and got into the whole driver modification thing. I was wondering if anyone here has, or tried the K810 and are there any advantages in the firmware, so I could Crossflash it or just leave it like this.
I use this phone for music too, so I wonder is the Music player any different. (I've heard there were some new features, but I'm not sure)

I have the slightly older, k750i.

I wouldn't recommend even attempting to use firmware that's not specifically for your phone (which it isn't) in case you f*ck it up. You can certainly say goodbye to your warranty if you're modifying your phone in any sense.

Personally I wouldn't bother, it's not going to be a noticeable change even if you do manage to change the firmware without ruining your phone.
