Which is better? Or any suggestions to make the new one better?

I'm thinking of changing the colour of the text "Ruger 77 - The Deer Hunter" to a bright green colour like the STM1993 in my other sig. No matter the change, these few things must remain in the new sig:

Me with a Ruger in a nice aiming position like proning, aiming at a bleeding target.

Why you don't change the font?
I like the new one

ah use photoshop or paintshop pro to add effects :D

Mmm, I like the Monotype Corsivia (whatever the spelling is) font.

Ah, I use MS Paint XD

Okay I'll need some more comments, then I'll do some modding to the new sig, show it, and then use it if it's better.

They both blow.

Atleast get Irfanview, it's good for contrast/gamma/other basic settings, and you can screw around with some effects aswell. My current dorky one was made with it.

Otherwise, ditch the font, fire up a proper image editor and stiff it up with effects, emphasize the main soldier more.

Dafont and GIMP/Paint.net help.

And the text under your avatar / sig is even nerdier than my slogans!

Actually, there is some purpose. It is to show what the Ruger really is ; a deer-hunting rifle which really goes with the message "if it bleeds, we can kill it", because:

1. One shot from it, you bleed. That means you can be killed (whether in another 1 or 2 shots). If not, he's either wearing a vest or is invulnerable due to Flame Bonus.

2. If you have below 50% health, you can get killed in a single, well-aimed shot. The bleeding character about to be shot shows this actually.

Okay, I guess I can make some modifications soon. I'll post it up when its done.

It's all pretty lame.  If anything it should represent your name, not a weapon.  I think, for you, a pic of a WWII soilder enhanced with blood and effects would look pretty cool, there's something about your name that reminds me of WWII : P

And yours doesn't lack purpose because....?

I like the new one mainly because the ground is not a blur of pixels and the whole picture is sharper in general.

New one, imminent death is more fun. Kinda looks like you just went into paint with a screenshot, picked a fancy font, and put it in there, though.

Alright, thanks for the comments ^^

I think I can work on it either later today or during the weekends. I'll try to add a border, make some changes to the font with "Ruger" in it (bigger and change of colour). If I can I'll find a way to make some nice effects.

I took a few screenshots of me in that Ruger position. Then, I changed my appearance, threw nades so as to make myself bleed, and then run around and take screenshots. From these screenshots, I picked out the best, and used it for my sig. Then I added the font and text and all that.

So you are actually right about how I did it =P
