So it's 5-4 (to the enemy team) on Ash and a friendly player is lucky enough to get the flag, but theres 10 seconds left so this guy has really gotta run like the wind.
He makes it into the home base with only a few seconds to spare, all he has to do is jump and fly into the flag.....
But he thought to himself "This is going to be an epic cap, the cap they'll remember me by! Lets make it more epic. Lets superman into the flag!"

Noob indeed. Moral of the story: Never try to superman towards a flag. Either you hit or miss, and if you miss, you are super slow.

Espically if there wasnt much time left, supermanning from above is quit a bit faster than not doing it. Allthough its quite easy to miss judge, the offset is that you move much much faster than not supermanning. I superman all the time on ash, and to get the flag. And if he didnt superman like that, he prob wouldnt have been even that close to getting the cap. You have to applaud him for getting the flag with less than 20 sec left, with out them having the flag.

Anyways shit happens.

He was obviously coming from below though, as seen from the screenshot, since his jets are very close towards the platform.

Supermanning towards the flag on ash is actually the right way to do it. Believe it or not, you can just abort the superman and fly normaly the extra metres if you see you are coming off on the wrong angle. Pretty easy to do.

The problem is, he was coming from the bottom. Even though you get out of super man its still pretty slow.
