As ppl might be aware of, there have been several reports about kids who use some app to request a join on a server about 8 times per second. This completely ruins the server and makes playing/joining impossible.

Even though there is a solution for it (block the ip's on a firewall/router) it would be nice if there could be some feature in the dedicated server to prevent certain ip's to request a join at all. If it is not too much trouble I'd like to see this feature in the new version of soldat dedicated server.

hmm I think that flooding take very little recourses. a little memory to store it and a little CPU to go trough code, and atlast little bandwidth so send the packet.

so I don't know if it's worth the time.

As JFK said, it actually *makes passionate love to* the server. It would be nice having the server deal with it by itself.
