It's year 2210. Humans have colonized 4 of the 8 planets of our solar system. A war has started between people of earth and the martian colonies. The situation doesn't seem too bright, as earths natural resources are depleting at worrying rate. The goverment of earth has hired best scientists to find a new source, of energy. After extensive research, a giant amount of uranium, enough to provide energy for the whole world for thousands of years, was found near earth's core. Many independent mining companies have started digging deeper into surface of our planet. Years have passed, and few have succeded to reach the uranium layers outside of earth's core. The energy crisis is stopped, but the war against martian colonies continues. As an act of sabotage, the martian space marines have planted a bomb in the uranium mines, planning to cut off the only energy source earth has left. However, the effects are far more severe. The explosion has caused chain reaction with the uranium, emitting all of the energy stored in there at once over the whole surface of the earth.
Over 97% of animals and plants became extinct, and about 86% of human population died. Those who survived, either became horribly mutated, or fight for their survival every day in desert conditions created by lack of any vegetation. The richest aristocrats live in special moving war foretresses, protected by the royal guards, once brave and proud army consisting of the best soldiers, protecting mainly kings and other important earth's goverment members, now a way for the poorer aristocrats, not rich enough to hire their own army, but weak enough to die in no time on their own, to survive, given food, water and shelter by their masters. Most of humans though, live as desert scavengers, struggling every day for survival. Most miners have died, although some survived, due to their anti-radiation helmet. However, the high radioactivity levels have horribly affected they brains, turning them into predators living only to kill. If it couldn't be any worse, an ancient tribe of shamans, who, according to a prophecy, "They will die, however, not fully. Holding tight to life, living on the border. They will survive years, centuries, millenia, wait for the right moment to rise again. When the humans will start fighting amongst themselves, and struggle for survival, they will come back to life, bringing doom and destruction upon their path". Luckily, they aren't as powerful as they once were, yet they have many of their artifacts, making them dangerous and brutal fighters. The high amounts of energy released by the Core explosion attracted an alien race, Tre'th, seeking new lands to conquer...
Yeah, this will be probably my biggest mod ever. 7 conflict sides, each with their own set of weapons, new maps, interface for each faction, bot pack etc...

Underground Miners:

XR "Rocky" - This experimental weapon is a simple revolver made from mixture of many rocks and few kinds of metal, it is meant to survive in extreme pressure and heat, designed for miners to protect from any threat they might find underground. Every miner was equipped with it for basic level of protection. All bits of it are made out of special metal, which provides lowest friction as possible, due to the risk of the gases underground exploding from even slightest spark.
Ancient Shamans:
Wand Of The Dead - Wands of the dead were one of the most powerful shaman wands. After slaying a magical beast, shamans cut its head off, and let it rot for about 4 months. After that time, the flesh was usually completly gone. Skull prepared in such way was then enchanted with dark magic, and the blades from steel were added to the sides. The skull was then impaled from the back on a wood of magical tree. Such wand was said to posses abillity to emit the very essence of death, killing or criticaly wounding whatever it hit. Years buried in the ground have weakened the magical powers of the wand, yet after short charge up time, the wand is still capable of instantly killing a target.
Mutated Citizens:
Parasite Pincers (Not official name)
These seemingly pincers are actually a parasitic animal. It feeds slowly on the rotten bodies of the mutated humans, who usually contain almost infinite amount of nutrition required for this strange creature to live. Laboratory tests have confirmed, that although it might feed on live and healthy human, it will shorten the hosts life by about 3-5 years.
Space Marines:
MCSR 001
The first sniper rifle developed on mars, it works suprisingly well on the surface of the earth. However, due to the rounds' wieght not balanced to earth gravity, there's a much longer interval between each shot.
