oh bollocks you suck.
parkway drive was cool a year ago, when thy werent that big.
hahahahahahahah

Ive seen both IKTPQ and PWD live, don't really dig their music can't say you'll enjoy it or whatever, but yea lets say theres an interesting contrast of people who frequent their shows hahaha. I'm pretty sure my friend saw PWD, or at least one of the bands that was supporting their tour on friday, wouldn't suprise me if he left before PWD.

One of the most memorable shows I've ever seen was probably this local band in a tiny as feck room in a squat, about maybe 5 X 5 meters big and the room filed to the brim of an array of punks, who mostly stank like complete bollocks. Like within five seconds of the bands intro, I found my self flung from in front of the band to the other side of the room, with some guys whisky and cola spilled all over my shirt. People were getting so fecken gnarly. When one person fell over a chain reaction occurred and another 10 people would fall over with them. People kept bumping into the band and their guitarist's lead kept falling out. They told everyone rather than moshing take your shirts off to show your appreciation for the band, people took their shirts off and kept beating the living bollockss out of each other. There was big ass feck off girder coming from the roof in the middle of the room and people kept dangling off it and hanging upside down. There was a light bulb dangling from a long ass cord right next to the beam and had  a cover, my mate was swinging on the girder and kicked the cover off and everyone started beating the bollocks out of the light bulb, hitting it and bollocks. The band had to finish early because they physically couldn't play, even with dudes standing in front of the band making sure nobody bumps into them.

I've seen some pretty off the hook shows before, but that one probably takes the cake as the most memorable and the first that comes to mind. Good times

shows in small rooms kick ass, i used to hate it but now i can't get enough of it, people jumping on eachother, taken 3steps to the side and already being pushed against a wall, standing in the midlle of the bands etc...it's awesome.

i don't know any of their music but the tickets got given to me so i'm gonna have fun and get loose oh yeah

what about you peeps? seen any bands live? any crazy concerts? any good stories?

oh bollocks you suck.
parkway drive was cool a year ago, when thy werent that big. same with BMTH 3years ago...
teehee LOOK AT ME I LIKE BANDS BEFORE EVERYONE KNOWS ABOUT THEM get over yourself i can tell you right now that half the shit you've seen is shit but i'm nice so i'll let it slide this time
besides i don't even listen to hardcore

we ended up seeing bring me the horizon, the ghost inside, the red shore and i killed the prom queen which apparently was their last performance ever because they're breaking up or something
the club was hell sus, my feet stuck to the floor and everything including beer was effing pricy plus WHAT THE FUCK IS WITH THE HARDCORE DANCING that shit is messed up
i'm chilling ut watching the band before some guy spins around slaps me in the face and throws me into the pit and i got stomped by fortyguys dancing like retards
when i got up someguy ran into me and bumped me into the stage and the bring me the horizon singer smacked me in the face with the microphone fucking cunt so i grabbed his hair and pulled him forward into the crowd but everyone pushed him back up HOMOS
so then i try to get back because there were all these straightedgehomos jumping around hitting everyone and some guy jumped on my back and wrapped is arms around me screaming... the only way i could get him off was when i fell over backwards onto him... i think he got winded or something

BUT ANYWAY ohmygod the hardcore chicks were so hot covered in tattoos and piercings :Q i got ones phone number se said she'd see me at parkway woop woop

it was a good night but the red shore was shit and i got a cool shirt out of it

I would have loved to see Metallica and Smashing Pumpkins live. Thing is, IMHO their current stuff sucks ass. feckin James Hetfield looks like a frickin' zombie and Zeitgeist just seems to suck.

I wish I was born in the mid to late seventies so I could have seen them live in their prime.
There are other worlds than these

lots of writing.

real hardcore/straightedge kids don't listen do BMTH and won't mosh/singalong to it or whatever.

also, if you can't stand being pulled around, getting stomped in the face, jumped on,... don't stand near the pit or the stage, just go stand in the back or at the sides.

also added some i forgot.

I've only gone to one concert but it was cool.

Dark Tranquility Amon Amarth, Firewind and Divine Heresay.

I really only went for Dark Tranquility but Firewind impressed me. Amon Amarth and Divine Heresay were.. not so good.

tmdb i don't even know of you read anything i've said i don't listen to hardcore and the tickets got given to me i didn't know what to expect but what would you know anyway... they're there to have fun and if swinging their arms around like massive homos is what works for them, go for it

and as for the faggy moshing the place was crowded like a bitch and i don't know about you but i like to watch the people playing so obviously i had to get closer to the front

Real Hardcore trumps faggy straightedge, plus, since when was straight edge good?

Never seen a band live. It's always been an issue of money or travel.

Going to see Poison at Musikfest, though.

ive been to i think 1 concert because not just money/transport so much as time.  not that i dont have enough, but that im about 40 years too young to see the bands i wanna.  99.9% of the bands i listen to are classic rock so im fucked.  the 1 concert i was at was a few years ago....was robert plant (lead singer of Led Zeppelin) and the strange sensation.  it was pretty good, but the band couldnt duplicate Zep's sound.  but robert still sounded great.  i would kill to see pink floyd live.....

i wanna go to some metal concerts just to mosh and drop some elbows.

Most of the band's that I've seen I went to in the past year or so ... Mainly due to the fact that I've only had a job since then.

Children of Bodom (when they came to Australia last month)
Joe Satriani (Saw him too around a month ago)
Nightwish
Iron Maiden
Slayer
Lamb of God
Parkway Drive
Evanescence
The Black Dahlia Murder (and whoever played with them in that particular concert)

and I'm ashamed to say ... I saw My Chemical Ruthouse at Luna Park.

Girlfriend practically begged for me to go.
