Would you play on a ... server?

It seems to me like there are a lot of ctf, tw, and zombie pubs out there, while the less-known or less-played gametypes get left behind. I have the ability to buy 1 server sometime in the next couple of weeks and I want it to be... one of these. Poll in a second.

From experience, you may find that hosting a normal one of the above modes will be pretty unpopular; these days a server needs a unique feature to be a success. I think more HTF Servers are needed these days.

I agree completely with EnEsCe, although HTF isn't exactly popular, getting together with a group of mates to have a 2v2 or 3v3 HTF match is surprisingly fun. It is also a good way to improve your communication and teamwork with each other.

There was once an australian Htf server hosted by gamearena, it failed, nobody joined but now the server is replaced with R/S. Personally i quite like htf like what gimpie said its awesome with a group of mates or clan.

i really think most of the default gamemodes except for ctf have lost a lot of players to scripted modes

Ya I guess HTF too, Nobody seems to play that anymore, including me :{

Nowadays it's just Ctf and DM mostly.

I'd like to see some Rambo match. I can never find a reliable server.

Hah, I prefer hold the flag, it's similar to Rambo Mode, but you don't use cheap bow. It shows how well you can survive and kill.

Since Hold The Flag is one of my favorite offline game (Since practically no one plays it online,) I would really enjoy to see a Hold the Flag server with more then 2 people in it, otherwise, pointmatch would be my choice. It's the rarer game modes that get my attention.
