Dummyfying bots on dedicated server
« on: June 29, 2008, 07:53:39 am »
If a setting in a bot file is changed to an invalid value, such bot acts like a dummy in a non-dedicated game. However on a dedicated server a broken bot will still join the game and run around etc.

Would it be possible to make a bot do nothing on a dedicated server? Maybe by setting some special value in the bot file. Dummies with custom names will be useful, for example in an rpg mod.

Thanks in advance.

Copy the Dummy bot file and then change the name. Worked for me if I remember correctly.
I like to have one Martini
Two at the very most
Three I'm under the table
Four I'm under the host
