I have an idea about the M79 topic below

M79 is said to be a noob weapon and it could be argued either way.
1 M79 user on a team is not bad but the problem is that it is becoming to widely used by 'noobs' or people who are just plain crap.
My idea is that servers should try to make sure only 1 person on each team can use it by putting some sort of lock after 1 person on a team chooses it.
My big problem is that lots of ppl on the same team use it and it becomes annoying and to be honest ruind the game of soldat for me.

actually no, centurion is not right. Speak for yourself. Not everybody goes thru an M-79 loving period. I very rarely use any grenade launcher in ANY game. I went straight for the MP5.

Oh, and by the way... somebody already said it, but yeah... all you have to do is learn to counter it.

Centurion - it's your opinion. I've started with steyr/minimi and then moved to ruger... and now I rarely use those ;d

i agree.. m79 are way to much used by noobs who just run up to you and suicide themself..
nobody barelly uses the m79 in a supportive and proffesinal way..  like boosting the FFC or something.. i used to do that... but poeple would still call you a noob..

It's Barrett martta. Anyways, I get ticked off at the people who WHINE about the M79, it really isn't that hard to dodge it if a newbie to Soldat is using it. If you think you're better than the "n00b", then you should be able to kill them instead of kill you. Please get some reasonable sense into your post/whine.

Keep the m79, nothing else I can say, because everyone else has said it.
It's a great weapon, if you know how to use it, and people can easily counter it with a machine gun, if they are good, and if they time it right.

And ya, my first kill was either with an m79 or the barret

No yelling is a rule.
People need to get over the M79. It's annoying, but it's here to stay. I used to dislike it, but now I see an M79er and am usually happy becuase they generally are easy to kill. The backflip is a powerful ability.

If you honestly can't dodge them, the next thing (which is really simple) would be run backwards and unload a clip into them? If all you do is rush into battle without thinking...then you deserve to get your face blown off.
