Soggy performance...
« on: June 30, 2008, 06:46:29 pm »
Well, I've been doing very well in soldat the last couple weeks, but today I got on and failed. epicly. it was fairly embarassing to not break 20 points in a gather twice in a row.

soo... what do you guys do when/if you fail and need to cool down...?

Also a cool pic of one of those gathers, when we changed maps I got a strange buggy... thing. if this needs to be in gen discussions or something then whatever.

Everyone has bad experiences with the score board in soldat : |

I get a good winning streak every now and then.  Then I begin failing by comming second.. third.. then disconnect from the server before im totally ruined ;)

nah thats not what I'm talking about. I'm talking about like... failure from the start. And I can't really just disconnect from gathers... would get me banned.

I wank. Just kidding.
Usually after I fail, I go to the sink and wet my face with cold water then dry myself. After that I get a drink of water and lift weights for a minute or 2 to get the feelings back to my arms. Usually I play better then :D.

Lol FireMan, when I sucked in a gather I just get laughed at and add again.  It's good practice for getting better, but I'm not sure if that's the answer u're looking for.

Sometimes I also just take a break if I've been playing long, get a drink and continue :D

Haha, I still remember my 1/7 deagle hits xD

This bug happens to me sometimes, it looks even funnier when there are 3 people spraying like that.

I've had many 1/7 deagle hits =P
Then I pull out my knife and nail that lil' bunny.  If I'm not lying dead.

If I'm doing extremely bad with aiming and guns for whatever reason, I saw if I'm in pubs.

Depends on the situation. Sometimes I just switch weapons. You'd be amazed what that can do for you. Sometimes that aug with its "girly man" (i.e. weak) bullets just doesnt cut it. Switch to deagles or something and watch the kills rack up. Switching tactics is a good idea also. Sometimes rushing the enemy base just isnt a good idea. However, I stay back in base and I start killing like crazy.

I normally stay in the game if it is a somewhat fair game and not a flat out massacre (i.e., a game where all the pros are on one side and my 2-20 score is the best on my team). if it is one of those massacres, i normally just leave. Extremely one sided games are no fun IMO. The same applies if im on the winning side because there is no challenge.
