OK, so I recently started modding some of the graphics and sounds, and for whatever reason I decided to "silence" the MP5. Most of you are probably thinking "why have a suppressed MP5 if you're the only one it's suppressed too"? LOL it does sound a little retarded but I can actually aim better with the MP5 silenced. I guess the sound is a little disorienting to me. I know at one point there was a suppressed weapon in soldat, and I was going to suggest making the MP5 suppressed, but people would probably change the SFX back to the old MP5. What are your thoughts on a suppressed weapon?

Other things I have modded:
-blue explosions
-replaced the AUG with the FAMAS
-made the combat knife red (improved visibility)
-the interface (megaman style bars)

I don't think I will release this cause I doubt anyone would want it.

Wait is not a bad idea to have it, there are lots of mods with suppressed weapons and it's great to play with them

I didn't delete the sound, I just replaced it with a quieter one.

Yeah thats the soldat MP5, Im lazy, and the FAMAS picture is just a real FAMAS shrunk down and edited a bit. If I were to make a mod then I would make my own pics.

.. Deleting sound files wouldn't enhance play at all, so yeah it should be fine.

Editing sound files can enhance gameplay, but it's tricky to do properly and will of course vary from person to person.
