Odd Food Combinations
« on: July 07, 2008, 11:15:19 pm »
I just ate a Big Mac in the States a few days ago (trip to Vegas). I don't usually eat at Mickey D's but when I do: it has to be the Mac attack. For no reason at all I stuck some beef jerky in the sandwich and chomped down.

SWEET MERCY IT WAS BEAUTIFUL

I also heard that Strawberries with fresh-cracked pepper is good. Or Peanutbutter Pickle sandwiches.

Anyhow, have any weird food combos you'd like to share?
: D

Peasoup + strawberry jam + some beer. The next day will be the best, when you wake up with a blaster hangover, peasout and strawberry all over you and trying to figure out what the fuck has happened last night.

Pro tip: it's not fun. :(

When I'm backpacking or out camping for a while, I like to buy food that doesn't require ice or the like and can keep for roughly a week.

This lead me to the tortilla + summer sausage + peanut butter + mustard combo.

With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams it is
still a beautiful world.  Strive to be happy.

I always pick the jerkins (green things) off the center of the burger, dip it in ice cream and eat it with chips ;)

Also maccas chips + potato and gravy form KFC + maccas sweet 'n' sour = yum

Gherkins.

Tip: If you're eating red meat, you need Spicy Woodsmoke BBQ sauce. Burgers, sandwiches, steak, kebab... It makes them all better.

Baked beans, chips, or fries on a burger is as weird as I get.

Corn Dogs? Yes.
Pizza? feck yes.
I know people who do that; I used to for a while. One of my friends goes to the extreme, though: Ranch, Ketchup, Mayo, French Dressing, Mustard, and Marinara sauce, mixed and used as above.

One of my favorites is Rye bread and Peppered Gravy.
