A bug with dual monitors.
« on: July 08, 2008, 05:08:27 pm »
hi everybody,
currently i have 2 monitors, 22"+17", im using the 22" as the main monitor.
im using "configured independently from each other" mode, at nvidia control panel.
my problem is, when i start soldat the resolution of the main monitor changes to what soldat needs, but the second screen changes as well, even though im not running soldat at that monitor. it is very annoying since the mirc in the 17" monitor is getting smaller..very annoying.
hope you'll fix that in the next version.

Strange..when I played Soldat on my dual monitor system, it was fine. I had two identical monitors running at 1280*1024. I had Soldat running in 1280*1024 mode set on the left monitor. The stuff on the second didn't change at all.

Maybe just make Soldat's resolution the same as that of the first monitor or make both monitors have the same resolution?
There are other worlds than these

He probably isn't regged, the standard res is very low so it changes both monitors. Diablo2 freaking kills my unused monitor.

This dual monitor stuff also depends heavily on the driver  and type of card you are using

I have a 19" widescreen and a 17" and I run soldat on my dual screens.

It plays on my 19" and the only thing that happens to my 17" is that the background image gets smaller, while the icons get bigger... My open programs, (msn), don't change in size, they just get moved to the right.

But uhm, my 19" is at 1280x768, and my 17" is at 1024x768, and I run soldat on the ****x768.
