Random checkbox for Mp3 music

^^ : Im getting tired of listening to the same song each time soldat starts up. How do you randomize the playlist in game?

If soldat could randomize files order from playlist, it would be really great. Now if we want to listen the same mp3`s, but in different order, we need to create new playlist, and save it in soldat/mp3 dir. Listening the same mp3 in the same order sometimes is really boring, randomizer (option) could give new functionality to prevent it.

I also support. Isn't there a way to take mp3s and play them without regstering? I think you put the mp3 file in the folder that holds the default songs(such as Bloody Soil) but I'm a little hazy on the details.

You need to change the mp3 file into a module file. I think.

I support this, but first it'd be nice if the MP3 player would work properly.

I'm not sure how hard this would be to code, because it'd have to change around the format of the playlist internally, would probably take a few hours to work out all the bugs.

100% ack... ive been looking into how to make an m3u randomize its contents, but i guess that just doesnt exist :>

This randomize MP3 checkbox would be nice and cute update (matching to other 1.4 new features like: minimap or resolution change) for registered users. Few lines of code in Delphi == full fun for users : -)

BTW. soldat MP3 player could use numeric pad which isn't in use now for giving more possibilities of  control MP3 player, for example like:

• changing sound volume: absolute or ratio to sound fx level;
• loading next/prev/first/last MP3 from current laded playlist;
• loading next/prev/first/last playlist from soldat/mp3 directory (!);
• randomize MP3s order from current loaded playlist;
• etc : -)

but i think this is content not for here, but for new topic in "Game Improvements / Suggestions" forum section. If you like or don`t like this suggestion don`t write here (it would be offtopic content here), but check this new topic.

You can't use the built-in MP3 player without registering - but you can always run your media player in the background.

Foobar and Winamp are popular because they can be a lil' more compact then WMP.
