Unless you collect cigars and display them on your mantel piece then I wouldn't call cigars a hobby... just be honest and admit it's an addiction.

Actually, you don't inhale cigar smoke.  It's not like a cigarette.

I know, my estranged father smokes cigars. He is addicted. Personally I don't see the point of it since it appears to be very pretentious to simply sit there with what is essentially a horrible smelling joss stick hanging from your mouth..

Premium ones taste good, some people like the aroma of fresh smoke, though its mainly for the taste.

i love the smell of coaches when the bus driver has been smoking, then he turns on the shitty air con and all you can smell is an old air conditioner and ciggarettes.

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

but i cant take the smell of ciggarette smoke, i like the smell that gets caught onto your body and clothes. I would smoke, but im under the legal age, ("pfft so what you pussy") and people im close to hate smoking to a point where its just blind hatred.

So when you hit legal age you'll start smoking to be cool and get to work on destroying your lungs and smelling like sh*te. Sounds good to me. Have fun in chemo.

The occasional cigarette or small cigar (cigarillo) is nice while drinking. Haven't tried any cigars yet though.

Cigars... Well, they can smell very good (like a Montecristo Cuban) or really, really bad like soiled garments. I, personally, don't smoke but enjoy the fragrances of a few varieties.

The best smell ever is from fresh coffee beans (like Gold Coast, Italian espresso, German and Austrian espresso, or Columbian coffee)

Enybody like Espresso?

Yes he surely will. Whilst you, of course, will be getting all the dick.

Cigars are big brown dicks. Corporate businessmen and politicians suck on big brown dicks between press conferences.

And just because you smoke a pipe doesn't mean you have to talk like an asshole.

Cigarette will give you cancer, but not fast enough.

With regards to Castro's Cuban Cigars

I dont know why your attacking me for having a reason not to smoke since your so against smoking. You dont know me at all. Why is everyone so against smoking?

No, I'm 'attacking' you because you implied that when you are old enough to legally smoke that you will purely on the reason of it then becoming legal for you to do. Smoking for the sake of smoking.

I would smoke, but im under the legal age

Why is everyone so against smoking? Because it's quite simply a very selfish thing to do. Passive smokers often suffer more than smokers themselves, especially if they have weaker immune systems or just aren't used to smoke they can contract lung infections fairly easily from just being around smokers. Also, let's not forget what lungs are for... and that's to diffuse oxygen into our bloodstreams  to keep us alive... not for us to huff on chemicals for a temporary brain-numbing experience. Smoking around patients on immuno-suppressant medication can easily kill them as they can't fight an infection if they get one. There's really nowhere worse to get an infection than in your lungs as it essentially impairs your ability to breathe.

in the last 2/3 years [atleast here in australia] alot of places have been becoming out of bounds for smokers so it isn't as bad as it used to be... people are always going to complain- where i used to work, 30% of the beer garden was the smoking area, with a 2 metre buffer zone that furniture wasn't allowed in at all and we'd still get people whining and complaining
i mean you can only do so much MOVE YOUR GODDAMN CHAIR

i only smoke when i get trashed and every man and his dog come up and go SMOKINGS BAD FOR YOU like i haven't heard that before! when are people going to realise smokers are just people. as long as they're not blowing smoke in your face whats the big deal

Ahh, if only that were the point of this topic.

Speaking points, let's that back to it.  Enjoying scents.
With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams it is
still a beautiful world.  Strive to be happy.
