Not as high tech as the gatling gun I saw at the Calgary Stampede... yes stampede festival - the military was out in full force with recruitment tents. "Look at our cool guns. Join us, then shoot some people. Huah!" Anyway, this gun they had was from a CF-18 fighter jet. It had this space age looking hydralic system on it. It was a slow firing gun, but the rounds were frigging huge. Just one could knock out a support beam in a large building.

I dunno, I like guns (just not their application in real life - the people killers anyway). It's different in a game because everyone respawns. But to comment to the topic, a gun that could fire 180 rounds could be possible, but that would be stretching the physical limit. Also, at that speed, if just one round had a defect and didn't fit right, it could set off a lot of the bullets stopping or smashing into something due to the sudden stop in the feed.

I believe my mate told me about this, apparently (from what I can remember) it was like a box with like 10 guns in it or something.
Not like 10 HK's welded together though, but specially made guns or something.

It is, only one barrel is firing at a time, the others are cooling down (for only a split second, but it helps).
And looks cool lol.

the minigun M18E1/A1 fires up to 6000 bullets per minuet. That's 100 in a second.

That's the highest i found.

I saw a Softair-Flamethrower which had 120 in a second...
