ANY MUSIC MAJORS IN THE HOUSE? MUSICIANS? COMPOSERS?

I'm a Woodwind major! The Clarinet is my primary (coolest instrument EVER) and the Alto Sax is my secondary.
-I play guitar on the side in my Jazz/Hard-Rock bands. Probably going to do Bass for my strings component.
-I suck at piano.
-I also play the Irish Fife, the Mandolin, fail at the violin, fail at the trumpet, CONQUER THE KAZOO, and am very poor at percussion.

I'm a music fanatic. I write music (many for the classical guitar, piano, and clarinet. I also have a short orchestral score. I'm currently working on a KLEZMER piece! It sounds pretty good so far. I might post the finished product)

I used to take percussion lessons, I think for about 3 years. I still play the drums though I enjoy myself.

- I'm a Woodwind major too, play clarinet too (yes it is the coolest instrument EVER), and Eb and Bass clarinet are my secondaries.
- Guitar is a hobby, I practice that even more than my clarinet lol.
- I play piano as a hobby, I mainly use it to write music lol.
- Don't really play any weird instruments (unless Eb clarinet counts, which it should, sounds like someone speaking through their nose lol.)

I'm more of a computer nerd than a music fanatic. I write music in my off-time (which is...never these days), I'm an...ok techno artist, I've got a few songs that I don't like finished, and I've never completed a piece of music outside of techno lol. And, I can't sing, but I try.

im teaching myself to play the banjo... slowly, i am in no rush though, i just want to be able to play a full song by the time im retired...

banjo = coolest instrument ever.

I'm been playing bass guitar/electric guitar for upwards of four years now. I've yet to record anything of quality though.. maybe I'll do a special piece just for the forums.

I played the flute for about 6 years now - and went on to high school state competitions/festivals... and that's pretty much it

I played the violin when I was 5, and I can play basic piano and guitar

i don't plan on majoring in music though =(

My brother's a guitar virtuoso getting a degree in Music Composition at FSU. My god can he shred.

As for me, I wish he had time to give me guitar lessons, and that he left behind an amp so I can attempt learning how to play the bass he left me.

Ive been playing guitar for about 12 years now, and bass for about 7 ish. Self taught. Dont play a whole bunch anymore, but regardless. Music is my life.
