Do not fear. you are clearly one of the more skilled first timers..All I can say is maybe not have the black line going through in the middle of the AK, make it lighter (but still darker than the colours around it) and it will seem more like an indent. (Like the sniper rifle in my sig, it has this technique)You should show the actual sizes too, just so we know what to expect when the mod is released. (Save as .png if you are having problems with the picture quality)
I love your style.
The AK looks like an MP44
I don't know what you guys want! How do you guys want me to screen shot my work?I'm all confused... -_-

Also use .PNG or .BMP to make them clear, like ace said. But I think some image uploaders (Like TinyPic) convert them from .BMP back to bad quality .jpg when you try to upload a .bmp so .PNG is probably the way to go Either show screenshots of what the guns look like when you have implemented them into soldat or show us the original files you saved into whatever program
Or you can press 'F4' which will save a screen in your 'screens' folder..
Have you tried adjusting your screen gamma?
..well the weapons look bad now.
So far so good, Krack. I have one complaint though. I'm not sure if that's supposed to be a silencer or not on your Enfield L85A1, but the barrel looks too fat and too long. If it's a silencer though, then I guess it's okay, but I'd still make it shorter.
Oh, and nice VZ-61 Skorpion, by the way. I had plans to expand my Rogue Spear mod and include one, but all I ever got around to making was a few interface graphics.
And I have a request... PLEASE don't put all your time and effort into the damn interface graphics. Take some time to make decent in-game sprites too.
