not a fluke, Japan was obviously full of shyt, even the goal that Japan scored in the first half was not supposed to be counted, the Japanese player pushed the goalie and he had no chance, the referee even apologised this morning about it after seeing the replay.

have you noticed that Australia are like the only team in the World Cup not falling down like little sissies every 2 minutes to get a free kick? fregin Japan and their cheap tactics.

Also Australia's first goal was very good because Japan had like 60% of their team defending the goal, once Australia scored that goal all of Japan moved forward and they had like 3 defenders and that let Australia score the other goals EASILY.
cool

I dont follow it very well but i'm very interested in the outcome.

How's Brazil doing?  They always seem to be pretty far ahead.

The goalkeeper shouldn't have left his position in the first place. And he was jogging.. No wonder he got pushed away.

Plonkoon: Brazil is playing tonight 21:00 German time (probably GMT+2)

what do you mean he left his position? he was about to block the ball from getting in, his hand was literally cm's away from the ball, look at the replay closely

I'm pretty sure England is pretty fair when it comes to fouls and stuff. We never make a fuss, unlike Paraguay, holy crap. Number 13 was a dirty git.

haha I love how seriously m00 is taking the world cup.

Also m00, I wouldnt say that Australia dominated Japan, they did a good work in defence for most of the match but got too ahead of themselves offensive-wise when they tried to get one back, when Australia scrambled their first goal and began gaining momentum.

But that match was the second match which I saw was lost in the space of less than ten minutes, Mexico V Iran was a good match and was fairly equal until Mexico got their two goals.

Also it's pretty good how lots of goals are getting scored in this world cup, compared to Japan/Korea 2002.

But anyway, Go saudi arabia!

I love hardcore boys its too good to be true

I agree, Australia is - including England - probably the most fair team when it comes to faking injuries with intentions to stall the game and such.
Understandably, considering that like 1/2 of Australia's team plays in premier league.

And m00, I still disagree. A goal keeper should be determined and ready for small blows if he runs out in the field like that.
In the heat of the moment there is always some pushing and holding. No foul, the way I see it.

the goalkeeper should have stayed in the safe zone..
if he would have, he'd just catch the ball and that's it. no fouls no score no nothing.
it really wasnt a goal kick.

anyway i hope brazil gets it up their asses later on tonight.

It would have been cool if the goalkeeper did catch it, but im realy not sprised the ball went in as the goalkeeper just ran out like that.

Australia is like an underdog team... No one really knows the players of the team - not like Ronaldo or Beckham, or Rooney - but they're there and they're ready to play!

As for today's scores:

South Korea | 2
Togo | 1

--

France | 0
Switzerland | 0

--
As of halftime:
Brazil | 1
Croatia | 0

I hope Croatia can win!

O hell... World Cup
I live in London and i can personally say that I really hope we don't win.
I hate people going
"OOOOOoooOOOooHHAAAAAAARRRRRRR ENGLAAAAAANNNND! WE ARE THE BEST EVERYONE ELSE CAN PISS OFF OOOOOOOOOOOOH"

the only good thing about world cup is being able to go to the park and and do crazy stuff cos no one is ever there....... and maybe getting to watch like Brazil cos theyr'e so cool when they play.

GERMANYYYYYYYYY OHHHHHH GERMANYYYYYYYY !!!!!!!!
shit yea! what a goddamned game that was.
we were at a pub\bar that screened the game and i was just saying "c'mon lets leave nothing's gonna happen in the last minutes of the game" - and that's when the goal came! hahah boy was i happy.

i have a bet with some friends, 2 of us are rooting for germany and 2 of them are for brazil.
the bet is, the first two that their team loses or gets a tie, removes (wax, shave, whatever) their entire body hair. boy am i lucky..

scores of yesterday were
Tunisya - Saudi arab, 2-2
Germany - Poland, 1-0

England | 2
Trinidad and Tobago | 0

Although england won against a country that I have only heard about on submarine and pirate games, 2-0 is still fine :D
