To explain it, at the moment, Brazil is leading the group with 6 points (2 wins), Australia is coming second with 3 points (1 win, 1 lose) and Croatia and Japan are both coming third with 1 point each (1 lose, 1 draw).

For Australia to go through to the next round (final 16) they need to either come 1st or 2nd in their group. As you probably know, Australia's next match is again Croatia. If they win the match against the Croatia, they will have 6 points and assuming that Brazil will beat Japan, they will be coming 2nd with six points while Brazil has 9 points. However, if by some miracle Japan beats Brazil by 3 goals and Australia beats Croatia by at least one goal, Australia will be on top of the group. Although the chances of that happening are probably less than having cars in the next version of soldat.

If Australia draws with Croatia, then Australia will have 4 points, and again assuming that Japan doesn't beat Brazil by anymore than 2 goals will be in second place.

If Australia loses to Croatia, then both Australia and Croatia will be tied on 4 points. If Australia loses by more than one goal then Croatia will definitely come second, and both Croatia and Brazil will go through, again assuming that Japan doesn't beat Brazil by one more than whatever Croatia is up against Australia. However, if Australia only loses by one goal then both teams will have a overall goal score of 0, so I'm not really sure what they'll do there.. maybe make them play extra time or something.

Anyway, go Australia! If they play as well as they did against Brazil they should at least be able to draw with Croatia and get through to the next round. \m/

How long they'll last in the next round is another story though..

I heard in the match against Japan, Brazil is going to use its 'other' team or somthing so that they don't get the 'star' players tired, I think Japan has a chance of winning..

Even so, Japan will have to win by a bit to have a chance of getting through.

Just because Brazil isn't using it's star players doesn't mean the other players will be crap.
