1.50b head explodes

- Added players head explodes sometimes(50% chance) if killed by a headshot from Barrett/Ruger

i dont like this ,in real life, other weapons explode the head.

desert eagle .50 = head explodes
ak 47 = head explodes
steyr aug = head explodes
spas 12 = head explodes
ruger = head explodes
m 79 = no comment
fn minimi = head explodes
minigun = head explodes
M2 = head explodes
law = no comment

my idea:
the greater the damage, the greater the chanche to explode the head(and other parts of the body).

when you shoot in the head using spas12, nothing happens.

Yes.

And even if the spas 12 was included in the head sploding guns, and if splosion chance depended on dmage, it would almost never head splode. this is because the one pellet that kills does so little damage.

Too many head explosions would kill the game's nature.  if anything, we should lower the chance of head explosions to 35% or less chance. 

And in "real life"  you would not expect a head to explode after a hit from ANY kind of non-armour gun (except maybe the Spas-12..)

let's get rid of jetboots, nerf the jump height, make the soldiers die after 1 or 2 shots, get rid of the infinite reload and make the game 4 dimensional [because 2d is soooooooo unrealistic]

let's get rid of jetboots, nerf the jump height, make the soldiers die after 1 or 2 shots, get rid of the infinite reload and make the game 4 dimensional [because 2d is soooooooo unrealistic]

You forgot weight gain if your character doesn't move enough, which then makes it jump lower and walk/run slower.

In these 4 I've got to dissagree. Soldat is kind of military game so I think we can tell that in game 5.56 and 7.62 rounds are military FMJ (Full Metal Jacket). rounds like these just fly throunght body without bigger fragmentation (5.56 NATO fragmentates sometimes to few small parts moving in different directions or rotate).

Imo those 4 souldn't make head explode effect.

Btw: Barrett should always make this effect.

Btw2: Imo at all this effect is bad made the blood circle around body looks strange.

It would be funny if knife had 10% or 5% chance of head explode effect :D.

But I really agree that with m2 head should explode, simply because it has same caliber as barrett.

In real life only explosive ammo causes the head to explode. Possebly a large caliber gun  but not Ak-74 bullets or ruger 77 bullets. So adding the head explosion is very unrealistic to start whit.

o0 You got a time machine Ben? Tell me were you live! I just gotta see it! (i think you mean 3 dimentional because the fourth dimention is bending time and space, no not just time space too.)

Personally, I would have set the head % chance for sniper and ruger and explosives to 10% chance, and never release the fact that it can happen, just for a surprise for the public :P

I predict it may get annoying after awhile, over the coarse of time it most likely will be reduced down to around 10% chance.

To be very honest... as cool the headshot thing is... I really think the original headshot before this update is much better. I mean, I prefer to see the head fly FAR FAR away (like now, especially with the Barrett bullet) rather than have the head just pop out in a circular manner with lots of blood spilling out.

Though it'd be nice if you can have the headshot sound, which I heard is supposed to be in 1.5 but not yet put into the beta.

STM your wrong. Find a .wav file, any one, and save it in the SFX folder of your soldat folder as boomheadshot(.wav) if you still have xp). Audacity is helpful to get it loud enough. And since it is a 50% chance, I like how sometimes the head goes flying and sometimes it blows up. Adds more effects.

The headshot sound is not going to be included, its more of a "Secret feature"... You make your own headshot sound.
