Okay, I've seen enough Soldat mod teasers and previews to make a teaser of my own upcoming mod.

First

I won't tell much about it, because you can understand a lot from the image.
And sorry for possible grammar mistakes...and those bullet holes.

If this gets some positive responses, I'll make more.

Very nice flyer except for the bullet holes. 

I think that banner would be about 10 times more effort to make than the mod itself... but at least it'll encourage people to download

Yes. And I'm abouty 50% done. All I need is to balance the weapons, finish weapons interface and make some maps for the mod.

Basically, yes. Although it works a little bit different, because Barrett with Spas ammo would be way too powerful. It has some drawbacks. Also, this is more like an old hunting rifle with a scope.

The damaged paper is fine but you need to add more dirty effects. Blood. Stains. Make it look like there was a zombie encounter right beside it.

If I were someone else coming in to this conversation, I'd say something along the lines of "You stop picking on Lord Frunkamunch; he could totally kick your ass in air hockey."

See, satirically it makes sense. After all, assuming you don't play air hockey, it's logical to assume that someone who plays it a lot would beat you, and you wouldn't really care because it's not really your thing. This situation is similar. Most of my past mods were rips and shrinks (which take a small amount of time to make) and were abandoned because I deemed them unworthy of what little time I had already invested in them. Gedazz, on the other hand, is perfectly fine with making a poster for every weapon he makes. So it's not really a fair comparison.

But I'm not another person. So I'll just say this: You're an asshat.




Baseless and near-unprovoked flaming aside, I think you should actually post an actual sample of whatever it is you're making, as this seems to have prompted little more than brown nosing. Than again, I can see that the hype itself is basically an experiment. So whatever.
