Can't decide. When I first saw the half naked man, it was going to be fail, but when I read the writing, it was funny. So.... I guess I'm going for win, cuz I like the robot too.

Ha...definitely win. Maybe you're just messing around and experimenting with these past couple posted drawings, but you've got a good style going. I'm a bit envious, in fact.

Yeah, been doing some gags lately for a change, since I decided I should try to expand my scope... lol. The robots a test sketch for a friend on dA -- some really neat mechas if you're into the stuff here: VulnePro.

Oh yeah... and I've resumed work on her again. Slight rhinoplasty [snubbed a bit] since last time, but I'm wondering if you guys see anything that might need changing [on the face...face! Hair's not even half done and you can see I wacked up the ears with the clonestamp].

First one I diddnt find funny.Â

As for the chick:Â she looks good and everything but I really dislike your "painting" kind of look.Â I know its probably mostly to do with the re-size but it still looks rough, not realistic.Â (I prefer realistic)

Can't wait to see te hair finished, because right now it looks really bad and seriousley degrades her face.Â I dont like the green light comming from her shoulder, since there is no light or anything there.Â And her ear does look a bit funny but I diddn't notice much.Â

One thing that bugs me is the skin tone, it could be a little darker (or have less light shining on her face)

but yeah the first ones a definate fail

Edit: you have like 40+ layers.. would you mind outlining why you have so many ? I mean the most I've ever used in an (attempted) drawing was like 5 lol

I have the background masked on the girl picture, so yeah, she's leaning/sitting on a self-like object [crate?], and yeah, there's green light on the left and a REALLY REALLY BRIGHT WHITE LIGHT to the right kekekekeke^^

As for the "40" layers, ah, I have like 5 layers on her, 5-6 for the background, 4 for some other picture elements and a crapload of messy palette layers I haven't gotten around to combining. Also a lot of layers are bitty overlay lighting adjustments that I didn't want to flatten at the time. Several layers are limb experimentation layers, so I can quickly flip back and forth to see which one I like more, and for some reason I have a backup copy of an older version of her underneath the current layer. Actually there aren't a lot of layers at all, it says "layer 39" but it's not really the 39th layer... just that there was a layer named 38 when I made it. I Ctrl+Shift+N a lot.

Yeah but I changed layer thumbs to layer bounds so I can tell visually what I have on the layer.

As you can see I used to name an color-code my layers. It was overkill...

Edit: seeing that thing in your sig close up its really good, but the ground looks kinda bright, and incredibly sketchy
