And you don't play Halo?  ;)

That's pretty cool. Nice.

What Revelations 6:8 SHOULD say: "And behold a pale horse, and his name who sat on him was Death... and all of the United States Marine Corps followed with him."

Said what?!

You're yankin' my chain, right?

If you don't enjoy it... then why do you work on halo so much?

Because I can?

Yeah, and I can write an essay on the importance of understanding electrons' subshells in Quantum physics, read Beowulf, and watch a Michael Moore documentary ( :P).

Doesn't mean I'd want to, now does it? If you don't enjoy halo, why spend so much time with it?

Next person to carry on about Michael Moore on this thread gets a warning. Don't spread your party line poison everywhere you go guys.

Doesn't mean I'd want to, now does it? If you don't enjoy halo, why spend so much time with it?

You'll never understand me, so don't try to figure it out.

A little work in progress project:

Before you yell, 'omg torque bow!' which, by my admission is one of the all time coolest weapons ever, this doesn't work like a torque bow.

I've been revamping DEV's combat mechanics to be more medieval. I think simply extrapolating modern technology leaves combat way too impersonal. One of the reasons why the middle ages holds interest still is because of that human interaction. Therefore I've started to make ranged weapons increasingly unwieldy to promote melee combat.

So... this gun [still unnamed] is pretty much as sniper-ish as they'll get, but compared to modern day stuff it's still pretty short-ranged, so it's more like a longbow than a sniper rifle. To fire, you open up the front arms and insert a round into the open-sided "barrel." Closing the arms will seal the barrel and you twist it once to cock. Shooting will make the arms spring back out to the open position and they'll start venting gasses and cooldandy whatnot. Load another round.

interesting, i've always taken an interest in medieval things over futuristic. combining them is quite common though but that is a really neat concept.

Draw this but in the hands of some futuristic nutjob.

"An anomaly of the sea, shrouded in ubiquitous clouds, a mystery to the man as black holes to the world's smartest physicists"
