Tw_Sherno...Cover,and filling (Screenys incl) LOOK!!!

I'm currently busy on my 2nd ever made TW map but i'm having some trouble with getting filling the place up,
any ideas?


This is a base in russia near Chernobyle before the rampage that happend (nuclear reactor exploding).

UPDATE :

I Added some powerplant Tower,an trees,FX and stones,grass etc
I redone the multitexturing and shaded.

Added,random schoot true effect,low power weapons cant schoot true a tree but higher power weapon can.

Added Bunker for Alpa,and allot of texturing scenery and time went into it.
Added some barbed wires,that hurt.
Added some weather effects.

Added Nuclear reactor
Added Tree Bridge and Rock Bridge
Added allot Pipe Towers
Added 2 Small bunkers
Added Cliff Base for Red,and Nuclear Reactor for Blue
Added Truck yard (blue spawn inside a truck)








I Already have crossed 500 scenerys,and i already made the bunker scenery out of 1 picture...so i really need to find some things to do wit hpolys to fill the place a little up.

I cant go intro extreem detail but ooh well its looking very good,and im getting happy with the results.

I don't understand
do you mean that there is a /faceplam commmand ?
and this command should drop a random item ?

If you could do this map in this style it would rock! Looks good so far.
Maybe try to make a overall layout first?

You're doing great, man. I love the scenery usage, with the trees and their shadows. Nice job multitexturing :) Shading in some places could be better, though.

Keep going.

i havent done shadin yet lol :p i always do that at the end of the parts,but im thinking of making small holes in the ground like bunkers,and a tent on the hill,more trees,and industry pipes,and when 1.5 map maker is there i can make flames come out,i was thinking of ltting blue spawn out of a truck. il post the updates in some hours ,itl look great

Ok i updated,new picture.

Some bullets will go trough the trees,but some hit them,if you for example use a powerfull gun (Ak 47,Spaz etc) you bullet will go true easy,but when using a secondary pistol or dessert eagles its a litle harder,your bullet will get stuk in the tree or wil set another course.

I think this will rlly make gameplay mush more interesting,and stop spraying,or m79 noobs

I like it so far only the water under that nuclear tower looks weird.
Try to make some pictures out of multiple sceneries to lower it

You ought to vary the style of the smoke coming out of the pipes. All the smoke looks basically the same, just flipped back n forth between pipes...

Also, you don't have to overdo it on the small rocks ;), although they do look nice.

Just ground, try to make some more bushes etc, dunno
Its pretty empty, also add some trenches!

yeah well i cant multi the trees cous there like impossible to render again at that size/quality,maybe but background on green and try to get it inviceble that way.

if that works i can make cool foresty look,btwn the towers around the pipes is collide is this good? or does it ruin the tw perspectief

the pistacja texture stretching makes it look very overstretched and weird since it has a lot of black-white variation in it, so try picking a more stable rock texture
and the grass tex looks more like, making it a bit unfitting, you should try a darkened version of rodzynka
also, about the interior of bunkers, the background walls should be a lot darker so they wouldn't hit pop up in your sight as much as the stuff that is up front.
Plus putting a huge chimney onto a bridge doesn't look good at all.
Everything else is up to you

ok i see what i can do about the texture.but that doesnt change the fact that i crossed 500 scenery limit.

btwn under a nuclear reactor is wat thats why i put water and made a bridge
